1950's Compact Mirror Box by Cartier in 18k Yellow Gold

Compact mirror box by Cartier, crafted in 18k yellow gold, beautifully engraved with decorative vertical and horizontal lines throughout the box. Sides of the compact are accented with black onyx shaped into elongated discs with rounded corners, and black enamel on the snap closure lock. Inside equipped with a crystal beveled edge mirror. 

Measurements 3.5" by 2.6" x  0.6"

Signed Cartier and serial number.
